PayLot is a simple, safe and rational way of selling tickets for public transport.

So, what is PayLot?

There are various mobile ticketing systems. Some require users to scan a QR code, others require them to register on their phones. All of these processes require travellers to interact with the system and consciously perform the task. But not PayLot.
With PayLot tickets, a passenger can get a ‘virtual’ ticket simply by being inside the vehicle. Certain infrastructures, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), allow the passenger’s presence to be detected through their smartphone, allowing the entire ticketing process to be carried out automatically.
There is no need to search for phones or queue at the ticket office. Passengers can simply walk in and out, just like that.

How it works?

The system works with Bluetooth Beacon technology to detect the user’s mobile device and automatically initiate the ticketing process. BLE beacons can be placed around stations and on public transport vehicles to accurately detect when a passenger enters and leaves a station or boards a vehicle.

With PayLot, journeys can be accurately recorded to ensure that the customer pays the correct fare. And payment can be made automatically and securely via the transport ticketing app. Passengers are spared the process of buying tickets, selecting a fare and paying by cash or card.

The System is based on Passenger’s app “My ticket”

The app, using the vehicle ID in which the passenger is located, collects payment according to the fare for this route.

Passenger paying with it’s bank card directly from the Passenger’s app.

An electronic ticket for a paid trip is displaying on the main screen of the app, allowing conveniently and quickly to carry out visual control of the fare.

Flexible tariffication

The system provides a flexible tariffication system:

    • fixed tariff,
    • payment by distance or by time,
    • group trips,
    • zonal tariffs,
    • season tickets,
    • reduced-fare tariffs.

Fare payment control

Fare control is carried out in several ways:

    •  by driver through the Driver’s app, which displays the current passenger traffic statistics for the vehicle.
    •  by the inspector visually in the passenger’s application. The electronic ticket contains all the data allows you to unambiguously decide on the validity of an electronic ticket.
